Therefore, it's super important that a pet photographer have infinite patience, a quick SLR camera, and ability to truly capture an animal and nature at its finest. Jake has these skills. We had a family photo shoot with Jake and it was absolutely wonderful. We have 2 kids and 2 dogs so of course we were worried about how the photo shoot will go (possibly lots of yelling) but Jake was so calm and extremely professional which helped us all stay calm as well. We all felt very relaxed including the dogs. The dogs really surprised us because they were at ease. Jake took lots and lots of pictures and if one of us looked away or wasn't smiling while he is taking pictures, he said no worries and will take another 20 pictures. Never did we feel bad or have any stress. I think this is the first time we didn't yell at our kids for not looking at the camera or smiling :-) Jake didn't put a limit to the # of pictures he would take which helped as well because if a certain shot didn't come out well, he would just retake another one. He also had a very quick turnaround with sending the digital pictures to us including editing the selected pictures. I am very impressed with Jake and his talents! read less

Jake did an excellent job from start to finish. He came on-site and took as many shots as needed to get what I was looking for. Afterward, he meticulously edited the photos I wanted to meet my expectations.
