How it works

Four steps from first call to final files

1

Tell us about them

Age, energy level, what they love, and what scares them. It changes how we plan the session.

2

Pick the setting

A backdrop in your living room for control, their favorite room for shy animals, a park for dogs who need to move.

3

Shoot in short bursts

Ten minutes on, five minutes off. We stop when they are done, not when the clock says so.

4

Get your files

Proofs in 7 days and finals in five business days.

FAQ

Questions we get every week

What if my dog will not sit still?

Most do not. We shoot fast and use treats and toys. Movement usually makes the better photo anyway.

Can I be in the photos?

Yes, and you should be. Hands and laps make pet portraits look like they belong to someone.

Do you photograph horses?

Yes, at your barn or field. Barn sessions start at $600 for 90 minutes.

How do we hold the date?

A one page agreement and a 30 percent deposit. The balance is due on the day of the session.

Are you a dog photographer near me?

If you're in Essex, Union, Morris, Bergen, Hudson, or Middlesex county, yes — we come to you, no studio required.
